This was my idea for stop motion. It didn’t turn out how I wanted it to, but I tried. Sometimes you have to fail to understand how to succeed. Next time when I do it, I am going to use a tripod and remote. Oh you have a tripod it must be steady every time! No, that’s not entirely true. I want to defiantly use a remote because with a tripod the slightest motion on pushing on that trigger, it could mess with your photo. This was just a test on how to stop motion, it was fun and a lot of work, but now I know how to do it next time. Next photo.

fixed wheeeeeling

This is kind of an advertisement for my fixed gear for sale. Ha, but the photo turned out good and what not right? So I have heard, the better the image is, the easier the item will sell on craigslist/eBay. I believe it. So this is just a photo I took for ebay with out the copyright on it. )I added a copyright cause peoples steal nowadays) The one I had for ebay was in color, but this one looks rad in B&W, and i am a fan of black and white, it would be my forte. Sweet, let’s move on. My inspiration for this photo was Jesse Carmody, jessecarmody.com/ thats his web site. He was the photographer for a fixed gear movie macaframa. His style is super rad and yeah, he inspired me I would have to say.

fan

Sometimes does life just feel like it is going way to fast? Yes, constantly I have the feeling like I just need to slow down and admire the aspects of our awesome lives. That is what I did with this photo. I love the photo of this fan. Thanks a lot for reading/viewing.

  1. I applaud you for trying the stop motion. It is a lot of work. I am glad that you have learned how to do it, perhaps do a google for tips on doing stop motion. There has to be a lot of info out there. Look at the behind the scenes footage of Tim Burton movies- Nightmare before Christmas and Corpse Bride. Lots of info there.

Bike photo is nice. Lose a little bit off the top. Extra sky is not needed. Putting the copyright on the photos is a great idea, do it on all of them.

  2. bike shot=legit nice use of the vignette

  3. my favorite is the close up on the spokes
