This week I have been shooting a lot more night photography, just messing around with some fun stuff with friends and that led into some pretty sweet shots. I have been kind of out of ideas recently so I resorted to just bring my camera with me when I’m hanging with friends and just trying to get different photos than normal.
With these photos they just really give me a good vibe when I look at them, especially the one of the boat at night. They really just give a clean, calm mood to them; that is how I have been feeling recently which is fantastic. My art and photography changes like my moods. They are both inspired by my emotions and how I’m feeling at the time. With all these photos they are sharing I’m just content and happy. Shooting is one of the best ways for me to express myself along with art, but photography just really let’s me share how I’m feeling and what is going on through out my life.
I have really enjoyed shooting night photography and landscapes, they are so much fun and they can be interpreted in so many different ways. Landscapes can be shot from so many different angles so a photographer could shoot 2 feet and could be a totally different photo and the whole vibe of the photo could be different. Here are the photos:
Thanks for all who comment and actually read this, have a good day.

So far this semester I have been doing to film photography and not a whole lot of digital. I haven’t finished my rolls of film or developed them yet, but that might be next week. Im really enjoying this film stuff and I hope the photos turn out :/ Anyways, with the digital camera this week, I did a little night photography and some sunset shots. I really love doing sunset photos, they just feel really strong and show lots of emotion and there are so many different types of photos you can make out a sunset. With the one one of Scott walking, there was fog near the lake and the mountains, and with the light perfect on the fog, it was tented green. I was quite surprised on how it turned out. Also I have a night sky photo and a portrait of Tim Darlington. I really like the portrait, 1 because it is not just the normal portrait downtown, 2 I really liked how it was blown out and just made it more unique than the other portraits I took of him. There is this ski photographer Erik Seo, who had this photo I was looking at on his blog, and it was of the sun, but nothing really to do of my photos that I took, but he really triggered something in my mind to take some more sunset photos because I was running out of ideas. Here are the photos:

So with the night sky, you can see me in 4 different places. Scott helped me with the light painting part, I stood there and moved and he traced me with a flash light. I really wanted to try something new with lighting at night and I guess thats what came to mind.
Thanks,
-Steve
